As per Upanishads a human being is a sum total of the material (physical), the mental (psychological), the intellectual (logical) and the spiritual.

In fact, while we compare the DNA work we are made to understand that even a miniscule part of the human body (or microcosm) has all the information of the whole individual (macrocosm).

Once we start analyzing this aspect, the conclusion is evident that a relationship exists between the outer world that is the macrocosm and the inner world that is the microcosm. Herein is the foundation of Vedic birth chart and Hindu astrology.

This is also the reason why in Hindu astrology career prediction is analogous to positions or movements of stars associated with an individual.

This is indeed a marvel of human achievement so often underrated by so called rationalists. We must appreciate that Vedas, the ancient texts are a huge body of discoveries pieced together more than 5000 years ago.

Someone will still ask, “What do Vedic birth charts foretell and where do they fit in with this microcosm/macrocosm concept?” Sadly, such questions are cynical because Hindu astrology is largely misunderstood.

A Hindu astrologer believes that a child is born on a day and hour when the heavenly rays are in mathematical harmony with his or her individual karma.

That is why a Vedic birth chart is a testing portrait revealing the individual’s irreversible past and the probable future events.

So next time you have doubts about numerology, birthday influencing your life think again. You as a microcosm are part of the whole universe (macrocosm).
