How on the earth distant stars and planets can influence human lives? How can they shape our personality, predict how we do in our career, and affect our romantic relationships?

For most of us answers to these questions are not important. What is of great consequence is the fact we believe in the mighty cosmic intervention in our future.

Why else do astrology numerology, free horoscopes, and the like get the first attention when we open the newspaper or the periodical?

A poll conducted a few years ago reveals that nearly 30 percent of Americans believe in astrology. And a good many are unsure. Surely, this works out for a lot of people.

Indeed among the believers, there are scientists, doctors, engineers, celebrities, and politicians – all rationalists in their day-to-day routine. If they are planning and regulating their lives after consulting astrologers, unquestionably there must be some element of truth in astrology numerology, free horoscopes.

What makes them believe in the cosmic influence of the stars and planets?

There isn’t a ready answer to this question. The fact is almost all cultures have an astrological tradition. The Mayans, the Aztecs, the Egyptians, and, toward the east, the Indians and the Chinese have all had a very strong institution of astrology.

All astrologers in unison refer to the occult influence of planets on our lives. Such a hypothesis unfortunately cannot be proved or disproved by conventional scientific wisdom.

The overpowering strength of astrology lies in the immense belief people have in this system, so much so that in India no marital alliance is finalized unless the vedic birth chart of each of the partner matches.

On a higher plane, for many people astrology and horoscope is discovering themselves and a source of spiritual enlightenment as well.

As long as astrology numerology, free horoscopes provide reassurance to people in their hectic lives, why complain? After all, hope and encouragement come with a price.
